Alto HRV removes stale, unhealthy air and replaces it with fresh air, and at the same time recovers nearly 80% of the heating/cooling energy from the air leaving your home. Alto HRV introduce the highly conductive aluminum heat exchanger Core to transfer the sensible heat (temperature) between the stale air exhausted to the outside and the fresh air that is brought inside. As the two air streams pass through the unit they do not mix. They pass on either side of the aluminum heat-exchange core which transfers heat from the outgoing air to the incoming air in winter. In summer, the HRV works in reverse removing the heat from the incoming air and transferring it to the outgoing air, to keep your home cool and fresh.
